Make this holiday season a joyous one for a family in need.

Being a New England transplant to Texas, one of the things I miss the most about the East Coast are the clearly defined seasons.

This year has been tough and maintaining hope has been a challenge for us all. Austin Child Guidance Center invites you to share what gives you hope this holiday season by submitting your original work that expresses what hope means to you.

August 31st marked the end of our fiscal year for 2020 and what a year it has been! The worldwide Covid-19 pandemic has been a tremendous challenge for ACGC as it has for all of us.

This is time of year that ACGC is usually putting last minute touches on our Austin Originals Concert. But this year, COVID had other plans for our largest fundraiser of the year.

To mark the start of the school year, Austin Child Guidance Center is hosting an Online Back to School Party on August 21 and we inviting STUDENTS to join the fun!

We will be reopening the Walk-In Clinic for virtual sessions on Tuesday and Friday afternoons, starting Tuesday July 14th.

ACGC is asking for friends, clients and stakeholders to help us build a library of compelling stories that can be used to inspire, encourage and engage children and families as they face their own mental health challenges.

Austin Child Guidance Center is accepting nominations for the 9th Annual Phyllis Richards Austin Icon for Children Award.

On the eve of Thanksgiving it seems appropriate and perhaps overdue for me to give thanks. There are of course many things for me to be thankful for on a personal level – my health, my family, the list is long. However my gratitude toward all of those that have supported me professionally should not be overlooked.

In July, Austin Child Guidance Center launched a new program called Child and Family Traumatic Stress Intervention (CFTSI) to provide more immediate services to survivors of recent trauma as well as survivors who recently disclosed abuse.
